Animation Courtyard at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Animation Courtyard

Animation Courtyard is a land that has undergone a lot of transformations over the years at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Currently, the land is home to mostly entertainment and character greetings. You’ll find Star Wars Launch Bay here, where you can enjoy a walk-through exhibit filled with Star Wars movie props. Additionally, Walt Disney Presents offers a fascinating glimpse into the life and legacy of Walt Disney through a collection of memorabilia, photographs, and a model of Disneyland.

Animation Courtyard is also the perfect place to bring younger kids to the Disney Junior Dance Party! The short, interactive show lets kids sing and dance along with their favorite characters from the Disney Junior series. And beginning in fall 2024, there will be a new The Little Mermaid show taking over the previous theater for Voyage of the Little Mermaid. The new The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure will be a new stage show coming later in 2024.

Animation Courtyard Attractions and Entertainment

Animation Courtyard does not have any rides, but is home to various walkthrough exhibits as well as stage shows. Here’s what you’ll find in the land:

Disney Junior Dance Party!: A high-energy dancy party featuring Disney Junior characters.

Walt Disney Presents: A walkthrough exhibit taking you through the history of the Disney Parks. It also includes potential previews for upcoming films, as well as a character meet-and-greet.

The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure (Coming Fall 2024): A new The Little Mermaid stage show that will be available in fall 2024.

Star Wars Launch Bay: A walkthrough exhibit where you can see movie props from the Star Wars franchise. It is also home to several character meet-and-greets.
