Home to tanks containing a living coral reef and more than 2,000 sea creatures, Coral Reef Restaurant is truly a dining experience you have to see for yourself. After all, where else can you dine “underwater” and hang out with some actual sea life?
This table-service restaurant at EPCOT offers more elevated casual dining, with a menu that’s reminiscent of a seafood spot (with a little surf and turf added into the mix.)
While the food here isn’t the best in the theme park or even the larger Disney World Resort, it is a solid option that many guests love because of the ambiance… namely, the sharks, sea turtles, and other awesome sea creatures.
Coral Reef Restaurant Location
Coral Reef Restaurant is located inside The Seas with Nemo and Friends, which sits in the World Nature neighborhood towards the front of the park. Once you enter and pass Spaceship Earth, you’ll want to head to the right to find the restaurant.

Disney Dining Plan
Coral Reef Restaurant does accept the Disney Dining Plan, but only the Disney Dining Plan – not the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. A meal here will cost one table-service meal credit per person for lunch or dinner.
Advance Dining Reservations
Advance dining reservations (ADRs) are offered – and recommended – for Coral Reef Restaurant. Like all table-service spots within Disney World, it’s highly recommended that you book an ADR if you’d like to dine here.
While not as popular as other EPCOT restaurants like Space 220 or Akershus, this is still a dining destination that’s in demand. And, as we’ve mentioned for other restaurants, pretty much all table-service restaurants can book up fast during the busiest times of the year.
Is Coral Reef Restaurant Kid-Friendly?
Coral Reef Restaurant is a bit more elevated than other table-service restaurants at Disney World. While it’s not as fancy or adult-leaning as other EPCOT spots like Monsieur Paul or Takumi-Tei, it is more elevated than spots like Biergarten. Kids may like watching the fish swim by while dining, but the atmosphere doesn’t really lend itself to kid-friendly fun.
Additionally, the menu here isn’t the most kid-friendly. While you can find staples like mac and cheese on the menu, not all kids will enjoy grilled chicken, steak, or shrimp – which can make it a tough spot for picky eaters.
Want to see the fish tanks but skip the pricey meal and not-so-kid-friendly atmosphere? You can still see the very same fish at The Seas with Nemo and Friends.
