Disney’s BoardWalk is a relaxing family retreat by day, and a lively entertainment district by night. Designed to replicate famous turn of the century boardwalks such as Coney Island and Atlantic City you’ll find fine dining, sports bars, snacks, family-friendly recreation activities, adults-only night clubs, and shopping galore. And since it’s steps away from 5 hotels and 2 theme parks, it’s an easy way to break up your day with some rest and relaxation.

No matter where you are on Disney’s BoardWalk, you will find a restaurant, grill, café or club nearby to serve a delicious meal or snack. From a quick bite or small snack to a full blown multi course dining experience, from sports bars to bakeries, from microbreweries to world famous chefs, you’ll be able to find something for every taste.

Hotels Near Disney’s BoardWalk

Disney’s BoardWalk is located smack dab in the middle of the five EPCOT area hotels. These hotels are conveniently situated between EPCOT and Disney Hollywood Studios . With less hustle and bustle than Disney Springs, this a great area to unwind during the day or kick up your heels at night.

Dining at Disney’s BoardWalk

Dining at Disney’s BoardWalk is an experience. From eating a pizza at the Pizza Window all the way up to a fabulous meal at Kouzzina, you can find a meal to fit just about any palate.

  • Big River Grille and Brewing Works – Enjoy a home-brewed beer at the only functional microbrewery at Walt Disney World, while dining on appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and salads. With 4 special brews made on-site available year round plus seasonal specialties, this is the perfect spot to unwind for any lager lover, there’s even a sampler where you can try all of their beers! An extensive cocktail list rounds out the menu for those looking for something other than a brewski.
  • The BoardWalk Bakery – Disney’s Boardwalk Bakery features confections of every type including pies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes and more. Warm breakfast sandwiches round out the menu in the morning, and a variety of gourmet sandwiches are available at lunch and dinner. You can also pick up a coffee, cappuccino, or cup tea to re energize throughout the day.
  • Pizza Window – Step up to the Pizza Window on Disney’s BoardWalk for a slice of your favorite pizza pie – cheese and pepperoni are available by the slice, or grab a whole pizza with your choice of toppings to share with the family.
  • Flying Fish Café – Fresh seafood prepared before your eyes in an onstage kitchen features at the Flying Fish Café, but there are a few options for those of us who prefer our meals didn’t come from under the sea. This beautiful Signature Dining location features modern American cooking and two unique dining experiences: a 6 course Chef’s Tasting Wine Dinner and an expansion of The Brown Derby’s popular Dine with an Imagineer experience.
  • ESPN Club – Dine and cheer on your favorite team at the full service ESPN Club (home of the ten dollar hot dog). Watch the game on over a 100 screens, enjoy pub fare, and relax with your family and friends at this sports bar. There’s even an arcade next door so the kids are entertained while you take a break to watch the game ( Sooners, anyone?).

Entertainment at Disney’s BoardWalk

At night, Disney’s Boardwalk hosts a variety of street performers and midway games. In addition, two nightclubs can be found there. Since the decline of Pleasure Island at Disney Springs, these are two of the few adults-only entertainment venues left at Walt Disney World.

  • Atlantic Dance Hall – you can dance the night away at this night club set in the swingin’ 1940’s! In addition to the huge dance floor with nightly entertainment including a giant video screen and a live DJ spinning contemporary and classic hits, you can enjoy a cocktail from one of three bars and grab a seat either indoors or on the outdoor patio. Admission is free, and guests 21 year of age and over can visit this club from 9pm-Tuesday-Saturday.
  • Jellyrolls – a dueling pianos bar with lively audience sing-alongs fueled by requests, open 7 days a week from 7pm-2am, for guests 21 and over. You’ll pay a $10 cover at the door at this popular night spot. The limited seating that fills up fast, so if like Dad you like to take a load off at the end of a long day, get there early.

Recreation

Bike and surrey rentals and watercraft rentals (including pontoon boats, Sea Raycers, and more) are available across the water from Disney’s BoardWalk at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort – simply follow the pathway around Crescent Lake and you’ll be there in minutes. Recreational fishing is available as well, along with specialty cruises to view EPCOT’s Illuminations fireworks. Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (featuring 2 separate courses) is within walking distance too – the possibilities for entertainment are endless!

Shopping at Disney’s BoardWalk

Spend a leisurely afternoon window-shopping along Disney’s BoardWalk – you can find everything from old fashioned sweets to art to sports paraphernalia to typical Disney merchandise.

  • Disney’s Character Carnival – Golf attire and Disney merchandise for the whole family.
  • Dundy’s Sundriees shop – Disney’s BoardWalk logo merchandise, gifts, and sundries.
  • ESPN Club Store – ESPN and sports related apparel, souvenirs, and merchandise.
  • Screen Door General Store – A little bit of everything – snacks, beverages, groceries, home decor, stationary, and character souvenirs.
  • Seashore Sweets – as the name suggests, this is your stop for candies and confections.
  • Thimbles & Threads – Apparel for ladies, childrens, and infants, plus a variety of plush toys and accessories.
  • Wyland Galleries – art focusing on marine life by internationally renowned artist Wyland, and others.

Transportation

Disney’s BoardWalk is located just outside of the International Gate at EPCOT. You can get there by walking from EPCOT (an easy walk) or Disney’s Hollywood Studios (a 15 minute walk), by taking resort transportation to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn (or any of the neighboring EPCOT-area hotels) and walking a few minutes, or by driving. Parking is easily accessible.
