If good music and southern style cookin’ sound like your idea of a perfect afternoon or evening, head over to House of Blues, a dining and entertainment experience at Disney Springs. House of Blues features two distinct areas: the concert venue, where you can see a show, and the Crossroads, where you can enjoy a sit-down meal or a drink in a relaxing atmosphere. While children are welcome, this is a more mature venue where you’re likely to find adults who want to escape the madness of the theme parks for a couple of hours.

About the House of Blues

Celebrate the history of southern cultures, especially African American contributions to popular art and music at this place. Featuring rural southern music like blues, R&B, gospel, rock ‘n roll, and jazz, House of Blues locations across the country attract performers (some well known, others less so) from all over to share the music of the south in a bayou inspired juke joint atmosphere. Dimly lit but warm and welcoming, you’re sure to feel some southern hospitality here.

On the menu, expect to find lots of southern soul food for lunch and dinner every day of the week (service from 11 AM to midnight). On Sundays, you can even enjoy The Sunday Gospel Brunch, which features an all-you-can-eat buffet of southern dishes paired with a joyous celebration of music from top gospel groups!

History

In 1992, House of Blues was founded by Issac Tigrett (co-founder of the Hardrock Café) and Dan Aykroyd, and now there are 13 locations in the US. In 2006, Live Nation acquired the chain. In 1997, House of Blue opened at Disney Springs. It has become a recognizable landmark at Disney Springs due to the famous water tower which stands over 100 ft tall. Inside, guests will find the artwork of Mr. Imagination, a “Crazy Quilt,” and, just like all House of Blues locations, there is a metal box filled with Delta Mississippi Mud underneath its stage.

Reservations

Advanced ticket purchases for the concert venue are definitely recommended, as are Advance Dining Reservations for the Sunday Gospel Brunch. But you can stop in at any time for lunch or dinner without too much of a wait (in peak season, if you’re set on dining here, an ADR isn’t a bad idea).

Disney Dining Plan

You can dine at Crossroads at House of Blues for 1 table service Credit on the Disney Dining Plan. Depending on what you order, this could be a good way to spend those credits!
