Want to know what to expect in Oga’s Cantina? Remember in the original Star Wars movie where Luke and Obi Wan go into a bar to meet find a ship to get them off of Tatooine? There’s a bar just like that one in Batuu (Galaxy’s Edge) right down to the look of the booths. You’d almost expect to see Han Solo and Greedo sitting there chatting about Jabba. That’s what Oga’s is like.

Oga’s Cantina

When you enter Oga’s Cantina in Galaxy’s Edge you’ll see an old friend! DJ Rex, or R-3X. He crash landed on Batuu and now plays music in the cantina! This isn’t the kind of music Dad is used to, but my favorite 70’s tunes probably wouldn’t fit in on this planet. This music is fun but definitely has a spacey vibe.

What to Expect

Entering Oga’s Cantina is exactly like stepping into a Star Wars film. It doesn’t look like your typical Disney restaurant. Everything inside feels like you are on a different planet–because—well, you are!

While this is definitely a not to be missed spot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios, this isn’t a place that you will eat dinner. There aren’t any meal offerings and relatively few snacks. It’s a fun place for drinks and a couple exotic items, but don’t think you’ll make a meal out of your time in the cantina.

One thing to keep in mind is that there are relatively few places to sit in the cantina. You’ll most likely be standing at a tall table or around the bar. If you’re one of the lucky ones to get a booth, that’s great, but it might not be the best place to relax!

Location

Oga’s Cantina is located right next to Millennium Falcon Smuggler’s Run! So, once you enter Galaxy’s Edge, look for a giant space ship and you’ll find Oga’s! If you still can’t find it, just be sure to take the path between Ronto Roasters and Droid Depot. You can’t miss it!

Breakfast

Breakfast is the only time where Oga offers more traditional food options. Even at breakfast there are only a couple of lighter options so don’t expect Mickey Waffles! There are a couple breakfast only drink options so you might want to plan your trip to Oga’s by looking at the menus. Check out the Breakfast Menu.

Lunch

At lunch there aren’t any meal options but there are a couple unique snack options. Check out the Lunch Menu

Dinner

The dinner menu is similar to the lunch menu, but Disney–I mean Batuu–is always changing things so make sure to check the dinner menu before blasting off to a new galaxy!

Advance Dining Reservations

Oga’s Cantina accepts ADRs, and you’d be wise to make one. Once you get inside, you’ll only have roughly 45 minutes in the cantina due to space restrictions. (Oga’s is really small.) If you don’t make an ADR you’ll probably worry that you won’t get a spot. Worry is a lot like fear. And . . . as we know, fear is the path to the dark side, so just make an ADR!

Extra Fun

You might think that DJ R-3X looks familiar and you’d be right! Originally known as RX-24, Rex was part of the original version of Star Tours. If you think his voice sounds familiar, you’re right again. It’s Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee Herman)!

Dad’s Bottom Line

For a Star Wars fan, Oga’s Cantina is a must-see. There are plenty of drink options even if you don’t want alcohol. You’re gonna want to see this at least once, trust me!
