What’s the best way to grill meat? Under a podracer engine, of course! Ronto Roasters serves up wraps, jerky, and more–AND did I mention a droid cooks it under a podracer engine? I did? Well, that’s pretty exciting! Hollywood Studios , I mean Batuu, has really gone through a transformation in the last few years. Galaxy’s Edge is about the most detailed land I’ve seen. While there aren’t a lot of options at Ronto Roasters, there are some neat foods to choose from.
Ronto Roasters
The podracer engine I mentioned is huge! The droid working the roaster is a nice touch. You didn’t think it would be this detailed? As Darth Vader would say, “I find your lack of faith disturbing!” What is a Ronto? It’s a creature from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. For an alien creature, they are pretty tasty!
What to Expect
If you’re looking for a full sit-down type meal in air-conditioning, then you’ll want to head over to Docking Bay 7. Ronto Roasters is a place to grab a quick bite and keep on moving or like Dory would say, “Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.” If you don’t want to waste time eating and would rather explore, Ronto Roasters might be perfect for you.
I’ve mentioned the podracer engine, but there are a lot of nice Imagineering touches. You’ll see various alien critters waiting to be cooked–which is a lot of fun!
Location
If you are in the market at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, I’m pretty sure your nose will lead you to Ronto Roasters. Once you enter Galaxy’s Edge head to the middle of the land. From there, if you remember the old Froot Loops commercial, you can probably take Toucan Sam’s advice and just “follow your nose.” If you want to know what to look for–in the market look for Kat Saka’s Kettle and Jewels of BIth. Across the path, you’ll see the Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop.
Breakfast
While their lunch and dinner wraps are available all day, there are some special options if you get to Ronto Roasters for breakfast. Check out the menu and see when you want to roast your ronto!
Lunch & Dinner
The lunch and dinner options are the same. If you’re like Dash from The Incredibles and want to make quick work of dinner—run to Ronto Roasters! Well, actually walk, Disney probably doesn’t want you to run.
Mobile Ordering
I love mobile ordering. It’s one of the best things that Disney has come up with. Sit down at a table. Pull up your MyDisneyExperience app and just order your food. In a couple of minutes you’ll get a message it’s ready. No waiting in line. Yes, you can mobile order at Ronto Roasters.
Disney Dining Plan
Ronto Roasters is a quick service location on the Disney Dining Plan. You might want to check the menu and the prices before using one of your credits here. People do seem to love the wraps, but they may not be the best use of your quick service credit as they don’t come with sides!!
Dad’s Bottom Line
If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t have time for long meals and wants to get on Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run as many times as possible then Ronto Roasters is the best podracer engine restaurant for you!
