History of Adventures by Disney
Adventures by Disney started operations with 2 tours back in 2005. The first tours were to Wyoming and Hawaii. This grew to 7 destinations in 2006, 12 in 2007 and continued through the years to where now there are tours to 6 continents with over 35 high quality destinations.
In 2015, it was announced that Adventures by Disney would offer riverboat tours through a partnership with AmaWaterways. Riverboat tours are now offered on the Danube and the Rhine.

Vacation Adventures for the whole family
When Adventures by Disney began, one of the big questions was how to include children in the adventures. Disney wanted tours to be not only family friendly, but a family experience.
On an Adventures by Disney trip, children are called Junior Adventurers and have events specially created just for them. Things like Junior Adventurer Movie Nights, which include a private dinner and movie. At the Louvre, Junior Adventurers participate in a special Art Detective tour while the parents go on the regular tour.
Adults aren’t left out. Special adult activities are planned while the Junior Adventurers are having their time away.
