In keeping with the design of The Disney Cruise Line, staterooms on The Fantasy are larger than the industry standard and have been created with families in mind, featuring ample space and (in most cases) split bathrooms.

Disney Fantasy Dining

The Disney Fantasy cruise ship, like all the Disney Cruise Line ships, has three main dining rooms. Unlike standard cruise ships, these dining rooms are all very different, and guests have a chance to experience all 3. During the day, you can get standard food at 2 of the restaurants, but in the evening, the magic comes alive.

The Disney Fantasy cruise ship has an innovative system that rotates guests through a series of restaurants for the evening meal. Each night, your servers and tablemates will rotate between the 3 main restaurants. Each restaurant is unique and offers an interesting experience. The restaurants are –

Other Dining

The Disney Fantasy cruise ship will offer several restaurants where you can grab a bite without having to dress up or even sit down. Details about these locations are still forthcoming since the ship is still being completed, but Dad should have the full scoop in no time! In addition, The ship will offer a casual dining option:

For Adults Only

Sometimes you just have to get away from the kids. On the Disney Fantasy cruise ship, you can choose from 2 restaurants, an entertainment district, and a pool.

Palo

Palo is an adults-only, upscale restaurant that has out-of-this-world food and service. Palo features Northern Italian cuisine served in an elegant and romantic dining experience. Entertainment

Disney has great entertainment, and it brings its best out to sea with it. On your cruise, you can experience first-run movies, award-winning live musical extravaganzas, character greetings, and much more. During the day, there are programs for kids of all ages. Adults can even grab some alone time while Disney takes care of the kids.

The Disney Fantasy cruise ship features not one but two theatres: The Walt Disney Theatre (where lavish live performances are on stage nightly, including Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular!) and the Buena Vista Theatre (an upscale cinema with first-run movies, comfy seats, and all the latest technologies).

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot: there are pools for adults, teens, and little ones, and there is one for the whole family. You can get pampered at Senses Spa and Salon, or if you need some exercise, you can go to the huge fitness center or even just walk a mile around the deck. Goofy’s Sports Deck features basketball, volleyball, mini golf, and sports simulators. There is something for everyone.

The Disney Fantasy cruise ship also features the first-ever at-sea Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to transform your child into a Disney Diva, Pop Princess, and Fairy Tale Princesses. Exclusive to The Disney Cruise Line, makeovers will be available for Captain Mickey Mouse, Princess Minnie Mouse, and First Mate Minnie Mouse in addition to special Under the Sea packages.

Sounds pretty girly, right? Well, on Pirate Party Nights aboard the Disney Fantasy cruise ship, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique transforms into the Pirates Liar, where boys, girls, and grownups transform into swashbucklers!

Youth Clubs

When Disney started the Disney Cruise Line, they wanted to target the family market. (Duh.) They designed ships with large areas with children in mind. They wanted to create an environment where the children would have a place to have fun and parents would feel safe in leaving them. They have areas for all ages. Here are the different areas designed just for kids –

  • Muppet’s Adventure Game – an innovative and interactive game you can play around the ship by using a game card held in front of enchanted art to help the Muppets find their missing props

Pools

The Disney Fantasy cruise ship features 2 pools, 2 splash areas, and a water coaster for families to enjoy.
