Disney Fantasy Dining
The Disney Fantasy cruise ship, like all the Disney Cruise Line ships, has three main dining rooms. Unlike standard cruise ships, these dining rooms are all very different, and guests have a chance to experience all 3. During the day, you can get standard food at 2 of the restaurants, but in the evening, the magic comes alive.
The Disney Fantasy cruise ship has an innovative system that rotates guests through a series of restaurants for the evening meal. Each night, your servers and tablemates will rotate between the 3 main restaurants. Each restaurant is unique and offers an interesting experience. The restaurants are –
- Enchanted Garden – serves breakfast and lunch. At Dinner, guests of all ages will experience a seasonally prepared 4-course feast. The décor is inspired by the gardens of Versailles, and the setting magically transforms from day to night before your eyes!
- Royal Palace – serves breakfast and lunch. Dinner features French-inspired continental cuisine. This restaurant places you right in the middle of a Disney fairytale, complete with luxurious chandeliers, roses, and glass slippers.
- Animator’s Palate – serves Pacific Rim and American cuisine for dinner in the setting of an animator’s studio – that comes to life when the meal begins, engaging guests in an interactive dinner show! Two different shows are available on different nights: “Animation Magic” and “Undersea Magic.”
Other Dining
The Disney Fantasy cruise ship will offer several restaurants where you can grab a bite without having to dress up or even sit down. Details about these locations are still forthcoming since the ship is still being completed, but Dad should have the full scoop in no time! In addition, The ship will offer a casual dining option:
- Cabanas – casual dining with made-to-order breakfast and lunch and table-service dinner

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot: there are pools for adults, teens, and little ones, and there is one for the whole family. You can get pampered at Senses Spa and Salon, or if you need some exercise, you can go to the huge fitness center or even just walk a mile around the deck. Youth Clubs
When Disney started the Disney Cruise Line, they wanted to target the family market. (Duh.) They designed ships with large areas with children in mind. They wanted to create an environment where the children would have a place to have fun and parents would feel safe in leaving them. They have areas for all ages. Here are the different areas designed just for kids –
- It’s a Small World Nursery – for children 3 months to 3 years (additional charge)
- Disney’s Oceaneer Club – kids dress up as hero’s and princesses or play computer games or any of a wide variety of supervised activities. Ages 3-12
- Disney’s Oceaneer Lab – play and learn with themed activities and games. Ages 3-12
- Edge – a space exclusive for tweens 11 – 13 to watch tv, listen to music, surf the net, play videogames, and more
- Vibe – a hotspot for teens 14-17 to watch tv, listen to music, surf the net, play videogames, and more
- D Lounge – a family club and lounge where you can sing, dance, play games, and enjoy live entertainment

- Arr-cade – featuring the newest video games
Pools
The Disney Fantasy cruise ship features 2 pools, 2 splash areas, and a water coaster for families to enjoy.
