Step back in time and revisit what mealtime was like in the 1950s at one of the most fun dining experiences at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! 50’s Prime Time Café is a table-service restaurant that’s packed with kitschy touches and funny interactions, whether you’re chatting with Mom (your server) or catching popular prime-time shows from 1955 (in black-and-white, of course) on the restaurant’s TVs.
When you step inside 50’s Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner, you’re dining inside a home where manners – and keeping your elbows off the table – come first and fun comes second. The entire meal will have you and your family entertained, and the menu of classic comfort food choices will satisfy absolutely everyone.

Disney Dining Plan
You can use the Disney Dining Plan when eating at 50’s Prime Time Café. It’ll cost you one table-service meal credit per person for lunch or dinner.
If you’ve opted for the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, you can’t use any of your quick-service meal credits here.
Advance Dining Reservations
50’s Prime Time Café is a reasonably popular table-service restaurant, so it does offer advance dining reservations (ADRs) – and you’ll want to make one if you’d like to eat here with the family.
However, it’s worth noting that we’ve never had an issue nabbing an ADR here. While they can book up fast during the busiest times of the year, this is a great option if your top-tier choices are all booked up, or if you want something last-minute.
Is 50’s Prime Time Café Kid-Friendly?
When it comes to kid-friendly dining, 50’s Prime Time Café has it down perfectly. Kids are expected here, not just welcomed with open arms, and the fun dining experience makes for a highly entertaining meal for preschoolers, tweens, and teens alike. Kids of every age will love dining here.
After all, where else can they watch TV while eating and be entertained by servers?
Plus, when it comes to picky eaters and kid-friendly food, the menu at 50’s Prime Time Café is all comfort food. From Sloppy Joes to grilled chicken to chicken strips, everything on the kids’ menu is perfectly attuned to little ones’ tastes. Older kids will also enjoy the adult options, whether they like pasta, fried chicken, or traditional meatloaf.
