Home to delicious French nouvelle cuisine and a menu that offers plenty to please the adults in your family, Chefs de France is a great option for lunch or dinner if you want something a slight step up from totally casual.
Chefs de France isn’t the fanciest or most exceptional restaurant in the France Pavilion (that would be Monsieur Paul), but it does appear elevated thanks to its bistro-inspired styling, white linens, and curated list of French wines… and the fancy French dishes on the menu.
However, this table-service restaurant is unexpectedly welcoming for families. The food is decent, there are options for picky eaters, and it’s popular enough with guests that no one will bat an eye if your kid isn’t the most well-behaved during your meal.
Chefs de France Location
Chefs de France is located in the France Pavilion within EPCOT’s World Showcase. It’s easy to spot; it’s one of the first buildings you’ll encounter. The restaurant sits in front of the Eiffel Tower, to your right as you enter the pavilion and walk towards the back.

Disney Dining Plan
Chefs de France does accept the Disney Dining Plan. As a table-service spot, you can only use the Disney Dining Plan here – not the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan – but you’ll only need one table-service meal credit per person.
Advance Dining Reservations
Since Chefs de France is a table-service restaurant, it does accept advance dining reservations (ADRs) – and we highly recommend making one if you’re hoping to dine here. This is a fairly popular restaurant within EPCOT’s World Showcase, and tables can disappear quickly, even 60 days out.
Is Chefs de France Kid-Friendly?
While a sit-down restaurant serving French nouvelle cuisine might not sound like the most family-friendly dining spot, Chefs de France is actually a pretty welcoming place for guests of all ages. The France Pavilion staple does serve some fancy-sounding dishes and some decidedly non-kid-friendly items, its bistro-like atmosphere is kid-friendly.
Inside, the restaurant is lively and filled with sights and sounds – and if you have little diners in your party who love to people-watch, this is a great place to catch passersby exploring World Showcase!
Once you get past the French dish names on the menu, you’ll discover that kid-approved food is also served at Chefs de France. Sure, salmon is on the kids’ menu, but so too are more familiar options like grilled chicken, French fries, and even macaroni and cheese (it’s just called Gratin de macaroni… and it’s on the adult menu here!) So, even picky eaters can find something to please their taste buds at this table-service restaurant.
