Step back into America’s earliest days and experience what it was like to dine in the colonial period at Liberty Tree Tavern. This table–service restaurant, which offers family-style dining in a colonial inn will make you feel like you’ve been transported back to New England during the 18th century.

Here, kids and adults will enjoy the classic American comfort food served, including roasted turkey, pot roast, and plenty of crowd-pleasing sides (including mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese). With six dining rooms designed after pivotal figures in early U.S. history, you can dine like Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere, and George Washington at this Magic Kingdom restaurant.

Liberty Tree Tavern Location

Liberty Tree Tavern is located in Liberty Square, right near other icons of this land like the Liberty Tree and Liberty Bell. It’s right across the walkway from the waterways where the Liberty Square Riverboat sails, too.

Liberty Tree Tavern Menu

Liberty Tree Tavern serves lunch and dinner, and both meals are family-style, all-you-care-to-enjoy setups at a fixed price. The items on the menu do stay the same from lunch to dinner, so no matter what time of day you dine, you’ll get to enjoy the same fare – and the price is the same, too.

Take a look at what’ll come to your table when you dine at Liberty Tree Tavern below.

All-You-Care-to-Enjoy Bill of Fare

  • Patriot’s Platter, which includes:
    • Roasted Turkey
    • Pot Roast

    • Mashed Potatoes
    • Seasonal Vegetables
    • Herbed Stuffing
    • Macaroni & Cheese
  • Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake
  • House-made Gravy

All-You-Care-to-Enjoy Plant-based Tavern Keeper’s Feast

Disney Dining Plan

Liberty Tree Tavern does accept the Disney Dining Plan, and a meal here will cost you one table-service credit per person.

Just note that you can’t use the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan here, since it is not a quick-service restaurant.

Advance Dining Reservations

As a table-service restaurant, Liberty Tree Tavern does offer advance dining reservations (ADRs)

We highly recommend making an ADR if you want to dine here. This is a very popular table-service spot because it serves up such classics (and hearty portion sizes for the whole family), so reservations tend to book up quickly. Plus, this restaurant is considered one of the best in the theme park, so it’s tough to get a table if you don’t book in advance.

Is Liberty Tree Tavern Kid-Friendly?

Although Liberty Tree Tavern is a table-service restaurant, it’s one that’s very welcoming to kids. The warm and inviting atmosphere and family-style menu make it easy for kids to be themselves here (yes, even if that means using louder voices). Plus, kids will be able to color and entertain themselves while waiting for a table or their food to arrive.

This is an especially great dining option for the pickiest of eaters, too. If your kids find anything other than American comfort food a bit too out of their comfort zone, they’ll absolutely love what’s on the menu at Liberty Tree Tavern. Mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and seasonal vegetables make for delicious options – although let’s be honest, the veggies are unlikely to be touched! – and the meats are familiar enough to make it onto most kids’ plates, too.
