Featuring a large dining room decorated with ornate wood carvings, stunning glass artwork, and traditional Chinese lanterns plus a menu of contemporary Chinese favorites, Nine Dragons Restaurant is a standout in EPCOT.
This table-service restaurant is more adult-friendly, since it serves Pan-Chinese cuisine that’ll introduce diners to Cantonese, Mongolian, Szechuan, Hunan, and Kiangche-style specialties. These dishes may not be kids’ favorites, but for adults, the portions and flavors here are solid.
Nine Dragons Restaurant Location

Disney Dining Plan
You can use the Disney Dining Plan at Nine Dragons Restaurant, but only the Disney Dining Plan – it’s a table-service spot, so the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan isn’t accepted here.
A lunch or dinner meal here will cost one table-service credit per person.
Advance Dining Reservations
Nine Dragons does accept advance dining reservations (ADRs), like all other Disney World table-service restaurants. And like those other restaurants, ADRs are highly recommended.
While it isn’t one of the most popular restaurants at EPCOT, reservations can be difficult to get on busy days or during more in-demand seasons.
Is Nine Dragons Restaurant Kid-Friendly?
When it comes to theming, there’s a lot for kids to see inside Nine Dragons – but unfortunately, overall, it’s not the most kid-friendly restaurant. While the cool touches throughout may be interesting for older kids, younger ones and picky eaters will likely have a hard time dining here.
Even for kids who enjoy Chinese takeout, there are a lot of flavors and a lot of “new” foods on the menu. Familiar dishes like chicken nuggets have a slight twist, too, which means this is somewhere more adventurous kids will fare… and picky eaters will likely struggle.
