Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

by | Jun 14, 2024 | Dining, Magic Kingdom Park, Table Service Restaurants, Walt Disney World | 0 comments

Head to Tony’s Town Square restaurant, and you’ll have a chance to step into one of the most iconic scenes in a Disney animated film: the romantic spaghetti dinner between Lady and Tramp in Lady and the Tramp. Yep, this is meant to the be the same turn-of-the-century Italian trattoria where the beloved pups shared a noodle (and a kiss!). And who doesn’t want to recreate that adorable moment?

In real life, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is a table-service restaurant that caters to families quite well. Featuring theming that includes nods to Lady and the Tramp as well as Italian favorites like garlic bread, spaghetti and meatballs, and fettuccine alfredo that even picky eaters will enjoy, it’s a well-rounded lunch or dinner option.

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant Location

You’ll find Tony’s Town Square Restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. It’s next to the Town Square Theater, so it’s one of the very first restaurants you’ll pass as you enter the theme park.

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant Menu

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant serves lunch and dinner, but picking a time to dine is easy – the exact same menu is offered for both meals. The option for kids to customize their own meals is a nice perk of this dining spot. And if you’re an adult looking for a glass of wine or beer, you’ll find a selection of Italian options.

Disney Dining Plan

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant does accept the Disney Dining Plan – but only the Disney Dining Plan, not the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan.

A meal here will cost one table-service credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

Advance Dining Reservations

As a table-service restaurant, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant does offer advance dining reservations (ADRs)

While ADRs are highly recommended – after all, reservations disappear fast for every restaurant during the busiest seasons – this isn’t a restaurant that’s in high demand. We suggest booking one so you know you have a table-service spot for the day, and then you can cancel if your plans change (or a better option opens up.)

Is Tony’s Town Square Restaurant Kid-Friendly?

With its menu of familiar Italian food and a pretty loud dining room that’s always packed with families, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is definitely a kid-friendly spot to dine. The atmosphere is slightly elevated compared to a quick-service restaurant, but it’s certainly not an elegant or fine dining experience that kids will be uncomfortable (or unwelcome) at.

While adults may not love the food, it’s a safe place to take picky eaters – and if you’re worried about how your tired or rambunctious kids might behave at a table-service restaurant, this is a great one to try out.
