The West Side, one of the four neighborhoods within Disney Springs, is a great place to head if you’re looking to have some fun. Whether you’re taking a day off from Disney World’s theme parks but want to keep the kids active with a few rounds of bowling or you’re looking to catch a show you can’t see anywhere else, this is the area you’ll want to visit.
According to the fictional Disney Springs backstory, the West Side is meant to be the town’s exposition center. As the tale goes, this part of the town was developed in the 1950’s, making it the most recent of all the neighborhoods (although all underwent reimaging at the same time!).
You can feel the exposition theme throughout the area, particularly when it comes to the number of cool experiences you can explore. From a modern megaplex movie theater to stunning Cirque du Soleil shows, this is a Disney Springs destination that also offers some fun shopping and dining options.
